释义	父亲欠下的债务子女不需要还债，父亲欠下的个人债务应当由其个人偿还，但是如果父亲去世，其子女继承了遗产的，则子女应当在继承的遗产范围内承担其父亲的债务偿还责任。法律依据《民法典》第一千一百六十一条继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。超过遗产实际价值部分，继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。继承人放弃继承的，对被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务可以不负清偿责任。第一千一百六十二条执行遗赠不得妨碍清偿遗赠人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。
