法律是否允许延期支票？

我国法律原则上是不允许延期支票的。一般需要出票人和开具票据的时间统一，同时严格按照支票有效期十天的规定执行。但是我国也没有出台相关措施来打击延期支票的存在，在经济生活中默认延期支票的存在。同时也因为延期支票的在经济活动中也发挥出了实际的作用，所以，延期支票还是被广泛地使用。
【法律依据】:
《中华人民共和国票据法》 第八十二条 支票是出票人签发的，委托办理支票存款业务的银行或者其他金融机构在见票时无条件支付确定的金额给收款人或者持票人的票据。
