一、苏州老年人优待证怎么办理
本市户籍老年人：由其本人或委托家庭成员持老年人身份证和户口簿到户籍所在地的社区或村办证点申请登记，由身份证读卡器录入电脑系统办理；3个工作日内，按照各办证点的通知老年人或其家人凭领取凭证领取。
外地(外籍)老年人：凭办理材料到街道(镇)办证点申请登记，由身份证读卡器录入或工作人员手工输入电脑系统办理。经核对无误后，办证点给申请人开具领取凭证。3个工作日内，按照各办证点的通知老年人或其家人凭领取凭证领取。
备驻苏部队(单位)或干休所可指定专人负责，按属地管理原则，就近到所在地的社区(村)、街道(镇)办证点申请办理。
