法律分析：孩子的抚养权爷爷奶奶不能决定。
抚养孩子是父母双方的法定权利和义务，别人无权干涉。但如果经常照顾小孩，和孩子有抚养、教育的关系，那么在向法院起诉离婚时法院会适当考虑这方面的因素。双方可以先进行协商，协商不成的再上诉法院。法院会以保护孩子的身心健康和保障孩子合法权益为前提进行审判。
可采取下列措施争取孩子抚养权：
1、证明自己的文化素养、经济条件等基本条件更优于对方，孩子跟随自己生活更能健康成长；
2、证明对方存在恶习，不利于孩子健康成长；
3、证明自己已做绝育手术或因为其他原因不能生育；
4、证明孩子长期跟随自己生活，改变生活环境不利于孩子发展。

第一千零八十四条 【离婚后的父母子女关系】父母与子女间的关系，不因父母离婚而消除。离婚后，子女无论由父或者母直接抚养，仍是父母双方的子女。
离婚后，父母对于子女仍有抚养、教育、保护的权利和义务。
离婚后，不满两周岁的子女，以由母亲直接抚养为原则。已满两周岁的子女，父母双方对抚养问题协议不成的，由人民法院根据双方的具体情况，按照最有利于未成年子女的原则判决。子女已满八周岁的，应当尊重其真实意愿。
