法律分析：您要积极应诉，防止出现多判的情况。异地起诉的，当事人可以自行前往办理，也可以委托亲戚朋友或者律师代为办理。但要提供书面的授权委托书及当事人签名的起诉状。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》 第二十一条 对公民提起的民事诉讼，由被告住所地人民法院管辖;被告住所地与经常居住地不一致的，由经常居住地人民法院管辖。对其他组织提起的民事诉讼，由被告住所地人民法院管辖。同一诉讼的几个被告住所地、经常居住地在两个以上人民法院辖区的，各该人民法院都有管辖权。
