释义	法律分析：缓刑和坐牢的区别如下：1、适用对象不同。有期徒刑既适用于罪行较重的犯罪分子，又适用于罪行较轻的分子；拘役只适用于罪行较轻的犯罪分子；2、执行场所不同。有期徒刑的执行场所是监狱或者其它执行场所，拘役由公安机关就近执行；3、期限不同。有期徒刑的期限长、起点高、幅度大；拘役的期限短、起点低、幅度小。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第四十三条被判处拘役的犯罪分子，由公安机关就近执行。在执行期间，被判处拘役的犯罪分子每月可以回家一天至两天；参加劳动的，可以酌量发给报酬。
