劳动合同要不要去劳动局备案

法律分析：法律并没有规定劳动者和用人单位在签订劳动合同后必须要去劳动局备案，只要劳动合同本身和签订劳动合同的程序符合法律的规定，双方在合同上签字或者盖章后，合同就生效了，是否备案不影响合同的有效性。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》 第十六条 劳动合同由用人单位与劳动者协商一致，并经用人单位与劳动者在劳动合同文本上签字或者盖章生效。劳动合同文本由用人单位和劳动者各执一份。
