释义	如果在起诉前不知道被告具体住址的，可以直接写被告身份证上的地址或者委托律师到公安机关查询被告的户籍登记住址，如果法院受理后，按照这个地址无法送达诉讼文书、传票的，法院会采取公告送达方式，等公告期满后，法院可依法进行缺席审理并判决。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》第九十二条受送达人下落不明，或者用本节规定的其他方式无法送达的，公告送达。自发出公告之日起，经过六十日，即视为送达。公告送达，应当在案卷中记明原因和经过。
