释义	保证人资格即民事主体要成为保证人，应当具备的行为能力和条件，也就是说民事主体要成为保证人的条件。不是所有的自然人都可以成为保证人的，成为保证人是有条件要求的。根据法律规定，保证人是在债务人不履行债务时，按照约定，代替债务人履行债务。民法上的保证分为一般保证和连带责任保证两种。一般保证是在债务人无法承担赔偿责任后，保证人才需要承担责任;连带责任保证则是指在债权人要求债务人承担责任之前，也可以先找保证人承担责任。
