释义	法律分析：证人分为控方证人和辩方证人,都属于诉讼参与人但都不承担控诉或者辩护只能,只是根据案件事实提供证人证言。区别就是一个由控方一个是由辩方提请法院通知出庭作证的。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》第三十二条犯罪嫌疑人、被告人除自己行使辩护权以外，还可以委托一至二人作为辩护人。下列的人可以被委托为辩护人：(一)律师;(二)人民团体或者犯罪嫌疑人、被告人所在单位推荐的人;(三)犯罪嫌疑人、被告人的监护人、亲友。正在被执行刑罚或者依法被剥夺、限制人身自由的人，不得担任辩护人。
