释义	法律分析：从法律的角度上来说，是不需要承担责任的。因为我国刑法，以因果关系作为定罪的条件，分手不是法律所禁止的行为，而且一般来说分手也是不会导致死亡的结果，所以如果因为提分手，导致对方死亡，不属于法律禁止的行为，也与对方自杀不具有刑法上的因果关系。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百三十三条过失致人死亡的，处三年以上七年以下有期徒刑；情节较轻的，处三年以下有期徒刑。本法另有规定的，依照规定。
