拘役6个月算判刑，拘役其实属于刑事处罚中主刑的一种，同时也是属于人身刑当中的。而拘役在处罚强度和期限上面其实都是比有期徒刑轻的，对于被判拘役的罪犯，只要同时满足条件，则适用缓刑的可能性将会很大。
【法律依据】：
《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》第二百五十三条 罪犯被交付执行刑罚的时候，应当由交付执行的人民法院在判决生效后十日以内将有关的法律文书送达公安机关、监狱或者其他执行机关。对被判处拘役的罪犯，由公安机关执行。
