释义	不是必须。通常法院在进行民事审判前会对双方的矛盾进行调解，调解行程和解后就不在进行民事审判，按调解的内容进行民事矛盾的解决，调解不成的，由人民法院根据事实进行判决。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》第九十三条人民法院审理民事案件，根据当事人自愿的原则，在事实清楚的基础上，分清是非，进行调解。
