释义	根据《合同法》的规定，合同当事人应当遵循诚信原则，履行如实告知义务，否则，应当承担相应的责任。银行也不例外，在其与客户签订合同时，也应当履行如实告知义务，特别是合同中存在的格式条款，提供格式条款的银行一方应当作出告知与解释。如果没有履行如实告知义务的，应当承担相应的违约责任。【本文关联的相关法律依据】《中华人民共和国民法典》第五百七十七条当事人一方不履行合同义务或者履行合同义务不符合约定的，应当承担继续履行、采取补救措施或者赔偿损失等违约责任。
