释义	所谓票据抗辩是指票据债务人对一般票据债权人或特定票据债权人的债权请求，提出一定的合法事由，以拒绝履行其票据债务的行为。这里的一定合法事由称为抗辩原因，债务人享有的拒绝债权人行使权利的权利，叫做抗辩权。【法律依据】《票据法》第十三条第二项，票据债务人可以对不履行约定义务的与自己有直接债权债务关系的持票人，进行抗辩。
