问题	一般保证的保证期间
释义	如果当事人约定了期限，则按照约定期限而定；如果保证人与债权人未约定保证期间的，保证期间为主债务履行期届满之日起六个月。若在六个月期间内债权人未对债务人提起诉讼或者申请仲裁，保证人免除保证责任；债权人已提起诉讼或者申请仲裁的，保证期间不适用诉讼时效中断的规定。
