员工请假推迟发放其工资是否合法
释义
公司因员工请假而推迟发工资不合法。
请事假期间，因为员工没有提供劳动，公司可以不支付请假期间的工资，但因此而推迟发工资或故意拖欠工资是违法的。员工可以和单位协商解决，要求单位补发工资，协商不成可以向劳动行政部门投诉。
【法律依据】
《劳动法》第五十条，工资应当以货币形式按月支付给劳动者本人。不得克扣或者无故拖欠劳动者的工资。
