释义	法律分析: 一般情况下，在刑场或者指定的羁押场所内执行死刑。执行死刑后，应当由法医验明罪犯确实死亡，在场书记员制作笔录。负责执行的人民法院应当在执行死刑后十五日内将执行情况，包括罪犯被执行死刑前后的照片，上报最高人民法院。《中华人民共和国刑法》第四十八条死刑只适用于罪行极其严重的犯罪分子。对于应当判处死刑的犯罪分子，如果不是必须立即执行的，可以判处死刑同时宣告缓期二年执行。死刑除依法由最高人民法院判决的以外，都应当报请最高人民法院核准。死刑缓期执行的，可以由高级人民法院判决或者核准。
