释义	农村荒地可以建房，但是要获得土管部门的批准，未经批准所建造的房，是可以被拆除的，另外如果你家有住房，不符合再建房的规定，土管部门是不会批准的，据相关规定显示，非农业建设必须节约使用土地，可以利用荒地的，不得占用耕地；可以利用劣地的，不得占用好地。法律依据：《中华人民共和国土地管理法》第四十四条即建设占用土地，涉及农用地转为建设用地的，应当办理农用地转用审批手续。未经批准所建造的房，土地行政管理部门应对其予以处罚，责令退还非法占用的土地，限期拆除在非法占用土地上新建的房屋。
