释义	根据《最高人民法院关于适用中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法的解释》第一百二十一条的·规定，被告人被取保候审期间，保证人不愿继续履行保证义务或者丧失履行保证义务能力的，人民法院应当在收到保证人的申请或者公安机关的书面通知后三日内，责令被告人重新提出保证人或者交纳保证金，或者变更强制措施，并通知公安机关。取消担保的方式，是向取保候审的机关出具申请书，要求取消担保。
