释义	法律对于聚众赌博的处罚和我们平常生活中所说的赌博处罚的情况是一样的。那么触犯到相关的刑法有如下规定：以盈利为目的，聚众赌博或以赌博为业，处三年以下有期徒刑拘役或管制并处罚金。开设赌场的，处三年以下有期徒刑、拘役或管制并处罚金。情节严重的，处三年以以上十年以下有期徒刑，并处罚金。对于网络赌博以盈利为目的，在计算机网络建立赌博网站，或为赌博网站担任代理，接受投注的，属于上面规定的开设赌场。明知他人实施赌博犯罪活动，而为其提供资金、计算机网络通讯、费用结算等直接帮助的，以赌博罪的共犯论处。
