释义	管制是我国刑法规定的一种量刑种类。管制是对罪犯不予关押,但限制其一定自由,依法实行社区矫正,管制适用于罪行性质轻、危害小；人身危险性较小。对于被判处管制的犯罪分子，在劳动中应当同工同酬。法律依据《刑法》第三十八条，管制的期限，为三个月以上二年以下。判处管制，可以根据犯罪情况，同时禁止犯罪分子在执行期间从事特定活动，进入特定区域、场所，接触特定的人。对判处管制的犯罪分子，依法实行社区矫正。
