法律分析：没有编号不能说是假的；公司是法人单位公章只有一个；要是总公司总公章可备案申请同规格二枚，一枚为钢章、一枚为红章，下属每个分公司各有一枚比总公章小一号的公章，也不用编号；公司与银行之间，支票需加盖公司财务章外、另加公司法人代表和财务主管俩人私人印章；你说的印章编号，可能是公司合同章或服务点各点业务章吧，因有些公司规模及业务范围广，方便各业务员及各业务点的业务开展，也便于监督范围管理，实行各印章编号，由法人授权给负责使用；至于是否为假，可凭印模到其上属主管单位咨询鉴定。
法律依据：《国务院关于国家行政机关和企业、事业单位印章的规定》(一)制发印章的机关，对印章的刻制和发送必须加强管理，严格手续。刻制印章的工厂或刻字社，必须取得用章单位的上级委托书和公安部门的准许，才能刻制。对伪造印章和使用伪造印章者，应当依法惩处(二)各单位对印章要严格管理，使用印章，必须经本单位领导人批准。对非法使用印章的，应当根据情节给予行政处分直至依法惩处(三)各单位的印章，如因机构变动停止使用时，应当将原印章缴回制发机关封存或销毁。
