释义	法律分析：可以。是暂时停止公务,由所在单位发书面停职的通知到本人。暂时停止其履行的职务,接受调查或者审查。严格来说停职检查还不算处分,还属于检查阶段,怎么处分,是检查之后的事。法律另有其他规定的，应当依照其规定。公务员违纪的，应当由处分决定机关决定对公务员违纪的情况进行调查，并将调查认定的事实及拟给予处分的依据告知公务员本人。公务员有权进行陈述和申辩。法律依据：《中华人民共和国公务员法》第五十五条按照国家规定，可以向参与特定时期、特定领域重大工作的公务员颁发纪念证书或者纪念章。
