问题	孙子是否有赡养爷爷的义务
释义	根据法律相关规定，如果爷爷有子女并且子女有赡养能力，孙子是没有义务赡养爷爷的。但是如果爷爷没有子女或者有子女但是子女没有赡养能力的，孙子就有义务赡养爷爷。但前提是孙子要有赡养能力。《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零七十四条有负担能力的祖父母、外祖父母，对于父母已经死亡或者父母无力抚养的未成年孙子女、外孙子女，有抚养的义务。有负担能力的孙子女、外孙子女，对于子女已经死亡或者子女无力赡养的祖父母、外祖父母，有赡养的义务。该内容由闫园律师和点行律询共创回答
