释义	《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百七十四条敲诈勒索公私财物，数额较大或者多次敲诈勒索的，处三年以下有期徒刑、拘役或者管制，并处或者单处罚金数额巨大或者有其他严重情节的，处三年以上十年以下有期徒刑数额特别巨大或者有其他特别严重情节的，处十年以上有期徒刑，并处罚金。敲诈勒索罪是一种重要的侵犯财产罪，其犯罪对象是公私财物。有的学者认为，敲诈勒索罪的对象是复合的，包括人和公私财产。从敲诈勒索罪的客观要件入手，敲诈勒索的客体只能是财产所有权，因而其犯罪对象只包括公私财物，而不包括人。
