释义	刑事级别管辖，是指各级人民法院审判第一审刑事案件的职权范围。《刑事诉讼法》第19条规定：“基层人民法院管辖第一审普通刑事案件，但是依照本法由上级人民法院管辖的除外。”第20条规定：“中级人民法院管辖下列第一审刑事案件：（一）危害国家安全、恐怖活动案件；（二）可能判处无期徒刑、死刑的案件。 ”第21条规定：“高级人民法院管辖的第一审刑事案件，是全省(自治区、直辖市)性的重大刑事案件。”第22条规定：“最高人民法院管辖的第一审刑事案件，是全国性的重大刑事案件。”
