释义	合同法第一百零二条规定，标的物提存后，除债权人下落不明的以外，债务人应当及时通知债权人或者债权人的继承人、监护人。标的物提存后，债务消灭，但债权人还未现实地获得其合同利益。为了便于债权人受领提存物，债务人应当将提存的事实及时通知债权人或者债权人的继承人、监护人。只有债权人下落不明，无法通知的，债务人才可以免除通知义务。通知应当告知提存的标的、提存的地点、领取提存物的时间和方法等有关提存的事项。提存通知的义务，是法律规定的后合同义务，债务人必须履行。
