患病期间员工被解雇合法吗

法律分析:
患病期间如果员工没有重大过错,被解雇是不合法的。如果有重大过错,或者医疗期满后具有不胜任原工作或者单位依法为其另行安排的工作等情形的,则被解雇是合法的。
法律依据:《《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》》第三十九条
劳动者有下列情形之一的,用人单位可以解除劳动合同:
(一)在试用期间被证明不符合录用条件的;
(二)严重违反用人单位的规章制度的。
