租客在出租房坠楼房东需承担责任吗

法律分析：一般不需要承担。当然要看坠楼的原因。如果房东要承担责任，要存在归责于房东的原因。比如，在楼梯上，因为楼梯年久失修，造成租客坠楼受伤的，房东有责任。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》
第七百三十一条 租赁物危及承租人的安全或者健康的，即使承租人订立合同时明知该租赁物质量不合格，承租人仍然可以随时解除合同。
第七百三十二条 承租人在房屋租赁期限内死亡的，与其生前共同居住的人或者共同经营人可以按照原租赁合同租赁该房屋。
