释义	法律分析：因赌博而欠的债，称为赌债，此债务违法，故无偿还义务，当事人遇有违法索债情况的可以报警处理法律依据：《中华人民共和国关于人民法院审理借贷案件的若干意见》第十一条出借人明知借款人是为了进行非法活动而借款的，其借贷关系不予以保护”。因此如果出借人明知举债人所借债务用于个人赌博的，其债权不受法律保护。
