释义	减刑指对刑罚适当减轻的一种刑法执行活动，发生在刑罚的执行阶段。受贿罪的减刑与其他犯罪的减刑大体上一样，被判处受贿罪后，是否可以减刑取决于在刑罚执行的过程中犯罪分子是否具有可以减刑的条件，在执行期间，如果认真遵守监规，接受教育改造，确有悔改表现的，或者有立功表现的，可以减刑；有重大立功表现的，应当减刑。减刑由执行机关向中级以上人民法院提出减刑建议书，法院裁定减刑。但是，国家近年来加大了对贪污受贿类犯罪的打击，若犯受贿罪被判处死缓的，在死缓减为无期后，终身监禁，不得减刑。
