释义	如果与房东签订了书面的租赁合同，那么在合同期限内，房东不能单方提高租金，也就是不能连续涨房租；如果没有签订正式的书面合同，那么就属于不定期租赁，双方可以随时解除合同；同时，房东也就可以随时提出涨价作为新合同签订的条件只是按规定需要留出合理期限。【法律依据】《合同法》第232条:当事人对租赁期限没有约定或者约定不明确，依照本法第六十一条的规定仍不能确定的，视为不定期租赁。当事人可以随时解除合同，但出租人解除合同应当在合理期限之前通知承租人。
