释义	公安机关对被刑事拘留的现行犯或者重大嫌疑分子，经过审查后，认为符合逮捕条件，需要逮捕的，应当在拘留后的3日以内，写出提请批准逮捕书，连同案卷材料、证据，一并移送同级人民检察院审查。在一些特殊情况下，在3日以内不宜对是否需要提请逮捕作出决定时，经县级以上公安机关负责人批准，提请审查批准逮捕的时间可以延长1日至4日。对于流窜作案、多次作案、结伙作案的重大嫌疑分子，提请审查批准的时间可以延长至三十日。
