办企业的话大概需要一周的时间，个体工商户一般当天或者第二天就能够办好。办企业的话那就复杂多了，需要材料也很多，先去工商局注册大厅登记自己企业的名字，名字获核准后工作人员会给你所需要提交材料的清单(大概包括股东身份证复印件、公司章程、董事会、总经理聘任、会议纪要、验资报告、公司住所证明等等)。个体工商户的话就简单多了，主要需要证件照、身份证复印件、营业场所证明、如果你经营食品、烟等需要前置许可的商品还需要办理食品流通许可证和烟草专卖零售许可证等。
法律依据：《个体工商户登记程序规定》第二条 个体工商户的设立、变更、注销登记，应当依照本规定办理。
《个体工商户登记程序规定》第五条 申请个体工商户设立登记，应当提交下列文件:
(一)申请人签署的个体工商户设立登记申请书;
(二)申请人身份证明;
(三)经营场所证明;
(四)国家法律、法规规定提交的其他文件。
从事法律、行政法规规定须报经有关部门审批的业务的，应当提交有关部门的批准文件。
《个体工商户登记程序规定》第十三条 申请人提交的申请材料齐全、符合法定形式的，登记机关应当当场予以登记。
根据法定条件和程序，需要对申请材料的实质性内容进行核实的，登记机关应当指派两名以上工作人员进行核查，并填写申请材料核查情况报告书。
《个体工商户登记程序规定》第十四条 除当场登记的外，登记机关应当自受理登记申请之日起15日内作出是否准予登记的决定。
《个体工商户登记程序规定》第十五条 登记机关作出准予登记的，应当发给申请人准予个体工商户登记通知书，并在10日内向申请人颁发、送达个体工商户营业执照。不予登记的，应当发给申请人不予个体工商户登记通知书。
