新高考并没有取消复读生政策，只是将复读生从应届生中区分开，将其作为社会考生参加考试。 同时各省也出台了针对于复读生的衔接政策，只要符合条件的考生就可以报名2021年新高考，其中，复读生不需要从高二读起参加合格性考试，只需要参加全国统考的语文、数学、外语3个科目，以及选择性考试中的首选科目和再选科目3个科目的考试。
【法律依据】：
《八省份发布高考综合改革方案》 从2021年起，8省份普通高校招生依据统一高考和高中学业水平考试成绩、参考综合素质评价进行录取。
