释义	在固定期限合同下，当用人单位不再想留用某个员工时，可以在劳动合同期满时不再续签劳动合同，只是支付经济补偿金就可以了。但在无固定期限劳动合同下，要解除或终止劳动合同必须要有法定理由，如果有法定理由就只支付经济补偿金就可以了，如果没有法定理由那就要支付赔偿金，即两倍的经济补偿金。法律依据：《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》第十三条固定期限劳动合同，是指用人单位与劳动者约定合同终止时间的劳动合同。用人单位与劳动者协商一致，可以订立固定期限劳动合同。
