重大飞行事故罪是什么意思？

法律分析：重大飞行事故罪的构成要件如下：
1、本罪侵犯的客体，是空中运输的正常秩序和空中运输的安全。
2、本罪在客观方面表现为在空中运输活动中违反规章制度，因而发生重大事故，致人重伤、死亡或者使公私财产遭受重大损失的行为。
3、本罪的主体为特殊主体，主体必须是航空人员。
4、主观方面为过失。
法律依据：《刑法》第一百三十一条，航空人员违反规章制度，致使发生重大飞行事故，造成严重后果的，处三年以下有期徒刑或者拘役；造成飞机坠毁或者人员死亡的，处三年以上七年以下有期徒刑。
