释义	法律分析：假释官也就是批准假释的司法官员；这是西方国家的叫法，中国没有假释官；中国的假释由监狱所在地中级人民法院的审判监督庭核准；假释，是指对被判处有期徒刑的罪犯服刑满一般刑期以上或者被判处无期徒刑的罪犯，服刑满10年以上的罪犯，有条件的给予释放，假释官顾名思义就是考察批准罪犯假释的官员。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第八十三条有期徒刑的假释考验期限，为没有执行完毕的刑期期徒刑的假释考验期限为十年。假释考验期限，从假释之日起计算。
