公务员学历造假承担什么责任 -法律知识

法律分析：
对于假文凭的公务员，本人要如实说明情况，并放弃虚假学历，由组织人事部门予以更正，不追究本人责任，如果本人不主动说明情况，继续掩盖假文凭的，没有入党的，给予记大过处分，是党员的，给予党内严重警告的处分。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国公务员法》 第一百零九条 在公务员录用、聘任等工作中，有隐瞒真实信息、弄虚作假、考试作弊、扰乱考试秩序等行为的，由公务员主管部门根据情节作出考试成绩无效、取消资格、限制报考等处理；情节严重的，依法追究法律责任。
