释义	法律分析：驾驶证一般是六年一换。如果有记满12分记录的，是6年换一次。第一次有效期满换证，并且在有效期限6年没有扣满12分记录的，可以再次更换驾驶证。驾驶证是十年期；但是如果有记满12分记录，换到的新驾驶证为6年有效期。法律依据：《机动车驾驶证申领和使用规定》第五十六条机动车驾驶人在机动车驾驶证的六年有效期内，每个记分周期均未记满12分的，换发十年有效期的机动车驾驶证；在机动车驾驶证的十年有效期内，每个记分周期均未记满12分的，换发长期有效的机动车驾驶证。
