释义	根据《婚姻登记条例》的规定，结婚双方可以自愿决定是否进行婚检。因此，婚前是否体检由结婚双方当事人自主决定，法律不予干涉。但是为了结婚双方的婚后幸福和降低后代子女的遗传病几率，提倡婚前进行体检，这也是对夫妻双方负责任的表现。【法律依据】《民法典》第一千零四十九条，要求结婚的男女双方应当亲自到婚姻登记机关申请结婚登记。符合本法规定的，予以登记，发给结婚证。完成结婚登记，即确立婚姻关系。未办理结婚登记的，应当补办登记。
