释义	法律分析：并没有规定必须多人参与拍卖。但是拍卖必须有两个以上的买主：即凡拍卖表现为只有一个卖主（通常由拍卖机构充任）而有许多可能的买主，从而得以具备使后者相互之间能就其欲购的拍卖物品展开价格竞争的条件。法律依据：《中华人民共和国拍卖法》第二十二条拍卖人及其工作人员不得以竞买人的身份参与自己组织的拍卖活动，并不得委托他人代为竞买。第二十三条拍卖人不得在自己组织的拍卖活动中拍卖自己的物品或者财产权利。
