释义	法律分析：熔断机制，也叫自动停盘机制，是指当股指波幅达到规定的熔断点时，交易所为控制风险采取的暂停交易措施。具体来说是对某一合约在达到涨跌停板之前，设置一个熔断价格，使合约买卖报价在一段时间内只能在这一价格范围内交易的机制。法律依据：《中华人民共和国证券法》第五条　证券的发行、交易活动，必须遵守法律、行政法规；禁止欺诈、内幕交易和操纵证券市场的行为。第六条　证券业和银行业、信托业、保险业实行分业经营、分业管理，证券公司与银行、信托、保险业务机构分别设立。国家另有规定的除外。
