释义	法律分析：中国法律是不承认双重国籍的。1980年9月10日第五次全国人民代表大会第三次会议通过的《中华人民共和国国籍法》，首次以法律的形式，确定中国不承认双重国籍。如果孩子加入了美国国籍，则不能同时具有中国国籍。如果孩子将来在中国定居，想要取得中国国籍的话，必须向中国提出加入申请，由中华人民共和国公安部审查批准后，即取得中国国籍。需要注意的是，被批准加入中国国籍的，依法不得再保留外国国籍。法律依据：《中华人民共和国国籍法》第三条中华人民共和国不承认中国公民具有双重国籍。
