释义	不能说犯法，但一般来讲是违法合同规定的。不经过房东同意不可以私自换锁，承租人经出租人同意，可以对租赁物进行改善或者增设他物。承租人未经出租人同意，对租赁物进行改善或者增设他物的，出租人可以要求承租人恢复原状或者赔偿损失。合同如果没有特别约定，一般情况下不能换锁，同时房东如无正当理由擅自进入房客的出租房私自入室换锁（私闯民宅）算违法，私闯民宅，指非法侵入他人住宅。
