释义	不可以省略最后陈述虽然在速裁程序中很多事项都被简化甚至省略了，但是被告人所做的最后陈述是不能省略的。被告人最后陈述权指的是法院开庭审判时，被告人在调查事实和辩论阶段享有的最后发言的权利。被告人诉讼权利之一。是保障被告人辩护权的一种重要手段。法律依据：《刑事诉讼法》第二百二十四条：适用速裁程序审理案件，不受本章第一节规定的送达期限的限制，一般不进行法庭调查、法庭辩论，但在判决宣告前应当听取辩护人的意见和被告人的最后陈述意见。适用速裁程序审理案件，应当当庭宣判。
