旧户口本还有效吗
释义
法律分析：办了一个新的户口本，户口本上内容未作变更的，旧的仍能使用。如果是户口本补办，与原来的基本信息一致，也是不会作废的。但若是因为损坏而补领的户口本，不能继续使用，以免给生活带来不必要的麻烦。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国户口登记条例》第二十条
有下列情形之一的，根据情节轻重，依法给予治安管理处罚或者追究刑事责任:
1.不按照本条例的规定申报户口的
2.假报户口的
3.伪造、涂改、转让、出借、出卖户口证件的
4.冒名顶替他人户口的
5.旅店管理人不按照规定办理旅客登记的。
