释义	债务债权是得请求他人为一定行为（作为或不作为）的民法上权利。本于权利义务相对原则，相对于债权者为债务，即必须为一定行为（作为或不作为）的民法上义务。因此债之关系本质上即为一司法上的债权债务关系，债权和债务都不能单独存在，否则即失去意义。和物权不同的是，债权是一种典型的相对权，只在债权人和债务人间发生效力，原则上债权人和债务人之间的债之关系不能对抗第三人。债发生的原因在民法债编中主要可分为契约、无因管理、不当得利和侵权行为；债的消灭原因则有清偿、提存、抵销、免除等。
