释义	准生证有效期有效期各个地区都不相同，一般为半年至一年,最长三年。生二胎前必须要办理生育证后才可怀孕。一般情况下，准生证的有效期为一年，如果一年内没有小孩，准生证则自动延长有效期,但有的地方过期后，就要本人带上有关证明到计生部门重新申请续办。各地的情况有可能不一样，可以咨询当地的户口主管部门（居委会或公安局）。法律依据：根据《社会抚养费征收管理办法》第二条规定　公民享有依法生育的权利，同时应当依法履行计划生育的义务，其生育行为应当符合人口与计划生育法的规定。
